Terms & Conditions – Texograph

Welcome to Texograph. These Terms & Conditions apply to all quotations, purchase orders, and printing or packaging services we provide. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

Pricing

All prices are quoted in Canadian currency unless otherwise noted. Taxes, shipping, and handling are not included in the quoted price. If applicable, customs duties or import fees will also be the client’s responsibility.

Quotations

Quotations remain valid for 30 days from the issue date. Prices are based on the specifications provided by the client. If the final order or submitted files differ from the original request, the quotation may be revised. Texograph will make every reasonable effort to notify clients of price changes before production begins.

Purchase Orders

Orders are only confirmed once Texograph issues a written or emailed confirmation. We reserve the right to reject any purchase order without explanation. Clients are responsible for reviewing their orders carefully to avoid errors that may result in extra costs.

Changes & Additional Charges

If your order is modified during production, additional charges may apply. This can include:

  • Artwork or specification changes
  • Extra prepress time
  • Heavy ink coverage or extended drying times
  • Additional setups or press approval time

Texograph may also recommend adjustments to reduce waste or improve quality.

Payment

All orders must be paid in full before they are released. For larger projects, Texograph may require a 50% deposit before production begins. We accept certified cheques, bank drafts, wire transfers, and credit cards. Ownership of all printed materials remains with Texograph until full payment is received.

Cancellations

Once Texograph issues an order confirmation, cancellations will not be accepted. If you request cancellation, you may be charged for costs already incurred.

Complaints, Refunds & Credits

If you have concerns about your order, you must notify Texograph in writing within 5 business days of delivery or pickup. Refunds or credits are offered only at Texograph’s discretion and require the full order to be returned within 7 business days. Shipping costs for returns are the client’s responsibility.

Proofing & Print Quality

Clients must provide press-ready files and approve all proofs before production begins. Texograph is not responsible for errors that are missed during proofing.

While we strive for high-quality printing, slight color variations are a natural part of the print process. Exact color matching cannot be guaranteed. Proofing options include digital proofs, hard-copy Epson proofs, or press approvals if requested.

Press Approvals

Press approvals can be arranged upon request. They are limited to 20 minutes. If delayed or canceled, additional costs may apply. If no approval is given, Texograph will continue production using standard settings.

Over-Runs & Under-Runs

Printed quantities may vary by up to ±5%. Clients will be billed or credited accordingly.

Delivery & Shipping

Delivery timelines are estimates only. Texograph is not responsible for delays or damages once the order has been handed over to the courier. Clients are responsible for arranging pickup and delivery through their chosen courier.

Storage & Archival

Texograph does not guarantee long-term storage of artwork, plates, or electronic files after order completion. If an order is not collected within 45 business days, we may charge storage fees or dispose of it.

Limitation of Liability

Texograph is not liable for indirect or consequential damages such as loss of profit, goodwill, or data. Our total liability will never exceed the amount paid for the order in question.

Indemnity

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to use any images, logos, or designs provided. Texograph will not be held liable for copyright or trademark disputes.

Force Majeure

Texograph is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, labor disputes, supplier issues, or government restrictions.
